Mount Juliet Accomodation Guide
Among 1500 walled acres of unspoiled woodland, pasture and formal gardens, lies the majestic estate of Mount Juliet. Twelfth century origins, a leisurely pace of life and a traditionally generous hospitality combine with world-class sporting amenities and conference facilities, making Mount Juliet a place of contrasts and surprises, unique in its combination of old and new.
Built by the Earl of Carrick over 200 years ago Mount Juliet House still retains an aura of eighteenth century grandeur. The elegance of the original decor has been painstakingly preserved, and each of the 32 en-suite bedrooms has retained its own individual character and ambience. The refined 18th century decor of The Lady Helen Dining Room at Mount Juliet House sets the tone of the Estate's finest restaurant. A distinguished menu of classic Irish dishes is offered here each evening.
After dinner, relax by the fire in the comfort of The Tetrarch Bar or you may prefer the convivial atmosphere of the Jinks Bar, popular with guests and locals alike. Designed around a traditional courtyard, The Hunters Yard at Mount Juliet is just a minute walk from the main House and is the centre of Mount Juliet's many sporting activities.
Apart from the relaxed surroundings of the bars and The Loft Restaurant, the en-suite courtyard bedrooms provide a rustic contrast to the grandeur of Mount Juliet House. The spa at Mount Juliet's Hunter's Yard provides a full range of body therapy treatments, sauna, steam room and swimming pool perfect for relaxation at the end of a day's activity. Mount Juliet is also the home of Ireland's only David Leadbetter Golf Academy, which offers players of all abilities the opportunity to learn from the world's most successful instructor.
